OOC: If Elynae does not post soon, the Forces of Evil will be triumphant.
- Over Ranel -
Indayari's ship flew into Ranels Atmosphere.

- Ranel -
Seven pods flew into the ground, and three Chaos Sorcerers emerged from them. Their shadow magics flew into the Shadow Sorcerers, who died.
Intacan hissed and disappeared.

- Cavalia Talia -
Daerius walked through the caves they had dug into.
"This, ah, this is it... behind this door." He said.
"Sigal, nay locken." Daerius announced in Taomis.
"Easy to sort out." He threw his sword into the door, breaking it.

OOC: ElyNAY!

Elyn
Elyn glanced at Miriel's mangled corpse lying beside her. The blade had cleanly penetrated her breast before it shattered, and her garments were slowly darkening with blood. She did not know how long she had been standing, motienless, beside the body, trying to grasp the power that was once within her - but as Miriel had disrupted her attempt to extinguish creation at the cost of her life, she had also disrupted Elyn herself. She could not undo what she had done, nor bring it to an end.
Fool! she raged, how dare you rise against my will! How dare you think you knew more than I did!
But her anger soon shallowed. I made her to love life. I knew she would oppose me. Raging against one's own creation seemed pointless. It was like hating oneself.
A small shard drifted past the crumbling part of world Elyn was standing on. She stretched her hand out, tried to sculpt the world as she had done so often before, and, not without difficulty, succeeded in pulling it towards her and fitting the two pieces together.
Well done, dear, she told herself ironically. Only a couple billion more times, and you'll be finished.
Elyn returned to her state of lethargy, pondering what on earth she could do.

- Ranel, Relia Zaltai -
A creature suddenly flew out of the darkness and into Daerius blade, it was killed easily by a swipe of Daerius's sword, which glowed purple momentarily.
"Oh, mad Taomis. Thats unexpected." Said a Shadow Sorcerer.
"No, actually, Devoria informed me some would exist." Daerius hissed.
The Sorcerer shrugged, advancing, he raised his purple crystal.
It began to glow, and a red ball of flame flew towards a Mad Shadow Sorcerer.
"Oh, Shadow Sorcerer versus Shadow Sorcerer. I've been dying to see this" Daerius commented.
Ten Tsaii Taomis moved in a shield wall formation against mad Tamaii, which randomly charged into the claws.

OOC: Do our days still correspond? A bit of parallelity would help.

AM: Loyalists

IC:

-Planet Zháril-

-Spaceport, Day 3 after the Sharding-
The crouds huddled together in the spaceport's terminal woke from the rustle of the port's loudspeaker.
"All Internal Security members, report at the former Headquarters. All Internal Security members, report at the Headquarters."
The voice spoke in a commanding, unforgiving tone, emphasising the "All".
Immediately, several of the refugees rose to their feet and silently left the dark hall.

IS Headquarters, Day 4 after the Sharding-
Paevarn eyed his surroundings. The once proud building was barely recognisable. The Internal Security's headquarters had once been a architectural masterpiece of steel and glass. After the quakes, only the bare metal skeleton remained and glass lay strewn about the building's remains. As he moved towards the door, he started, seeing a dark shape on the floor. Paevarn carefully bent down to examine it.
A young boy lay sprawled on the dirt by the entrance. A large shard had struck him between the eyes and had killed him on the spot.
One after one, the men and women who filed into the square stepped over the body and entered.

Before long, the hall was filled. The gloomy walls were lit with lanterns. Internal Security has confiscated the wares from abandoned hardware stores and were attempting to use battery-driven devices as a means of temporary supply of electricity, a speaker, the Head of Internal Security, explained from the central stage. when everyone has settled. However, he continued, he would address a more imminent issue.
"Down at the spaceport, technicians are working to restore our means of interstellar travel. They hope that we can travel to one of our allies or our colony to escape the dire situation we are in."
He paused. "However, the following things have to be considered. One. Our colony could not possible hold even a part of the remaining population, and our allies could refuse giving us refuge. Two. As we are technically limited, this assumption is not absoltely secured, but we have reasons to believe that out planet, our solar system is not the only affected by this sudden cataclysm. Three. Considering our problems, we are handling the problems well. Several power plants on this shard - the major shard, if I am correctly informed - are still easily capable of operating. Our temporary measures should be sufficient to guarantee survival till we can restore a working electric supply."
He cleared his throat. "In conclusion, it isn't wise to allow these travel plans to continue. Internal Security, which has never fallen despite the events, will stop them immediately."
The speakers changed. An wizened Iyrlen, presumeably in his late fifties, stepped onto the stage.
"Most of you will know me. I was - am - responsible for climatic issues in our society. With the destruction of the star that provided light and warmth for us, the temperature will rapidly decrease till - ",he interrupted his speech , making a dramatic pause, "it will sink below the point where any significant polycellular life can be sustained."
A sharp intake of breath followed. Already, it was extremely cold outside. But that had always seemed a minor problem compared with energy providence, casualties and the danger of "political instability".
"I doubt that we have more time than a few weeks. The heat stored in our planet will soon be expended. We therefore have to restore energy production and group our communities in the largest halls availaible to us, and heat them there. After survival is possible, we can work on larger projects that may, given the time, restore our regular city life.

As morbid as it sounds, it is beneficial that we have lost a large part of our population. This way, we can produce enough energy to keep them all alive, preventing further casualties and potential revolts of those doomed to their deaths for the benefit of the few."

The speakers swapped places again.
"You thirty - he counted out a number of Iyrlen in the front rows - stop all travel plans." The Head of Internal Security moved along the stage. "These thirty aid restoration of Power Plant B. Take technicians along with you as necessay. Same goes for you thirty...", he counted out again, "for C. G and H are also still operable..."
The assignments continued. Paevarn and his immediate neighbours were left to the end.
"And the rest divides, returns to the spaceport or stays with other large groupings. Surpress any potential uprising against our authority."

Power Plants B, C, G, H, Day 4 after the Sharding
At dawn, the reparation was fully orgagised. After a number of technicians had examined the situation, Internal Security, provided with banana suits to protect them from radiation, moved in for the rough work. They shifted heavy stones from cables and half-broken terminals, cleared paths and reinforced cracked walls with any rubble that served the task reasonably well.
When they were finally done and sat, exhausted, before the building in the darkness when dawn would have been due, the more skilled began the hard work of restoring the plants to a state of full operability.

Spaceport Entrance Hall, Day 4 after the Sharding
A small number of those who had left for the meeting, barely a dozen, returned to the group. Most refugees were still asleep. Instead of joining them again, the Internal Secuity members sat a small distance away from the rest, only sitting with their comrades and carefully surveying the situation.

Spaceport, engine room of the shuttle "Ambition"
Anne knelt in front of the connection between fuel combustor and the large exhaust pipes of the spaceship. There was a fault that wouldn't allow the heat to escape and that would lead to immediate failure.
Suddenly, a rough hand pulled her up by the arm. She gazed at the hard face of an IS agent, eyes hidden behind a visor as usual.
"The reperation of all spacecraft has been postponed till inner-planar stability is guaranteed. Please go back to the group."
Anne opened her mouth to say something, but before any words came out, she hastily shut it again. It was forbidden to contradict any members of the state.
When she didn't budge, the man impatiently shoved her towards the hatch and slammed the door shut behind them.

- Over Ranel -
The first Needle, 'Prophecy', was hit by a flat beam of light. The pale azure beam cut the ship in half, causing it's core to explode.
Half of it spun off like a throwing dagger, with the Serpent still attatched, towards the planet. The other simply burned until the atmosphere was sucked out of it.
Slightly organic-looking tubes stuck out of he tear like dead arteries, leaking fluids and gasses.

- Relia Zaltai, Day 4 After the Sharding -
The Tsaii Taomis cut down the other, enraged Taomis of the relics that flung themselves at their shield wall. Their claws causing a clean pile of bodies at their feet. They slowly advanced, till the entire room was cleared. Another door was at the end, but flashed and slid open as Daerius walked near it. Suddenly, a creature fell to the floor. A dead creature.
"What is this?" The Sorcerer asked, touching it was his staff. The body twitched, Daerius flung his sword at it, killing it.
"Indayri's 'Menians'" He announced.
"They've found another entrance! Let's move!" He hissed suddenly at the Tsaii, who rushed into the next room. A blue-cloaked form stood floating near the middle, turned...
and then disappeared, as it teleported away. Two Chaos Sorcerers suddenly warped into the room, and then launched waves of fire at Daerius's Tsaii, which blocked with their shields, before disappearing in a purple flash.
The Tsaii scanned the room for the Chaos Sorcerers, but they did not reappear.

- Eslaon Capital, Day 4 -
- Science District -
Walking through the tranquil gardens filled with lush plants and happy wildlife, you could be forgiven for thinking the Eslaon, once having been described as 'cute', were a peaceful race.
Eslaon weren't.
They didn't kill for the sake of killing, but they could do some big damage when they wanted to. This was where EXODUS was in progress.
Creator-of-Weapons examined a flower with his mandibles while a test subject blabbered at him. It was beginning to get annoying.
"Excuse me, I must see to an urgent matter."
"Oh, yes, Creator. Very well." The Warrior-Serpent (now the only class used in the project) sat and looked around.

- Unknown Asteroid field in Space, Taomis Hive 'D', Four Days after Sharding -
The blackened creature ran past a purple mass of Taomis, dodging swiftly inbetween them as another explosion shook the hive which had been imbedded within an asteroid.
Devoria hissed angrily.
"So, lose the Megista generators and the Dark Sorcerers wake up, and who is Daulk going to destroy when he finds his Sorcerers are awake before him? Oh. Me" She cried angrily in Taomis.
"Talant, get the fifth one repaired, I'll tackle the third!"
The Shadow Sorcerer saluted, then vanished in a purple flash.

- Ranel, Relia Zaltai -
Daerius hissed angrily in annoyance at the locations the Chaos Sorcerers had been.
"Indayri! When I find her I'll... MOVE ON!" He shouted.
The Tsaii marched towards a door, which hissed and then slid open, a dead Shadow Sorcerer fell ontop of a Tsaii's shield, which screeched.
"One of ours... Strange..." Daerius hissed, examining the corpse.

OOC: Let's give this a go again...

Planet Zháril

Spaceport
As Anne, the technician, entered the room, a hush fell. Dozens of faces turned to look at her; and dozens of faces assumed an abashed expression when they saw her face.
"What's wrong? Won't it work?", someone called out.
Anne scowled. "Sure it would. But we're not allowed to go on. Instead, the population is commanded to keep calm and wait.
It was an uproar. People shouted wildly. Outraged refugees fingers pointed fingers outside to the shattered city that still lay in darkness to a large part. They only reluctantly calmed down when the IS stationed in the hall took the subtle and effective measure of unsecuring their rifles.
Hardly anyone noticed when a newcomer coming in and joining the group inconspiciously, leading a little girl behind him.

It was a night of whispering and plotting, a night of looking over one's shoulder constantly to eye the IS guards. All government control could not leash the panic and self-preservation instincts of their citizens; and noone could see the reason in staying on a ruined planet. Especially Anne, who vigorously believed that other allied planets or colonies would probably be in a better state, especially those who were actually prepared for earthquakes or similar catastrophes, had a great many followers.
Najien, with mounting hope, witnessed the rise of a rebellious feeling in the group of refugees; if they were to escape, it would greatly benefit. In fact, it was his only realistic chance of long-term survival.
