'Claimer-of-minds' was our best warrior. Mainly because he turned out weaker foes into allies before we killed them... You, though, will know little of us. We traverse the space, the space between spaces, the various realms and worlds. Exodus, you may have seen in the attached file, used 'The Gateway', that's "Hal", to you, as a weapon. That was most unfortunate. Mostly for the natives (see file T45 - http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2010/321/3/b/lava_planet_by_tarrzan-d331fn6.jpg ).
Indeed, the Cryak invention failed, too, for it was taken by the Necroempire 500,000 years ago.
But, even having consumed fleets of thousands, I doubt he will be able to stand against us.

- Eslaon ship, Needle of Impatience -

The long, icicle-styled craft was posed elegantly against the massive ribbon of the newly-forged world.
The ring (About 3.5 times the size of Installation 04, for interest's sake) circled the artificial star, 'Xe'. The Captain on the Needle was, of course, Leader-of-Warrior-Serpents, KsAelethnay.
The Warrior-Serpent was transporting Creator-of-Scientific-Inventions, TaRelathor, to the ring that was orbiting Xe. The star was sublime, to the five eyes of an Eslaon.
Eslaoni stood on three skeletal legs, the foreleg having a two-toed foot that could grip objects and use controls, the two rear legs having cloven hooves. The back displays two crests that flex, these are the course of an Eslaon's power, for example opening portals or mind control. The rear end is far from blind, having three eyes and a poison-spitting tail. Lastly, the head. It supports six spiny mandibles, insect-like, a pair of sharp horns beside them.
The Warrior-Serpent turned his long maroon body to look at the Creator-of-Scientific-Inventions, who was perhaps a little taller than him and contrasted his colour, being blue with white streaks where he was deep red with white bands on his neck and legs.
"Well, we have arrived. Transport to the surface has been prepared, if you wish to depart, sir." He clicked.

The red and white Eslaoni looked at the Warrior-Serpent, then around, then shook his head. "It is too late, they would be closed by now. May I continue to stay on board?"

- Needle of Impatience -
Leader-of-Warrior-Serpents sighed.
"If you must, sir, I cannot deprive you of what you wish to have."
His red, bulb-like fore-eye pair blinked in unison with the three facing backwards, closer to his brain.

The Creator-Of-Scientific-Inventions nodded and continued to focus on the circuit board he was tinkering with, dismissing all and any around him as if they were not there, absorbed in his work.

The door at the far end of the bridge slid open, and a female Eslaon clopped into the room.
XalRaento, Searcher-of-Portals.
She wandered to Creator-of-Scientific-Inventions and tapped her mandibles against his.
"Good waking hours. Did you sleep well?"

The Creator-of-Scientific-Inventions looked up and blinked. "I did not sleep. I was working through the night." He then looked back down, powered the device on, and it smoked and blew all over his face. Angered, he cracked it in half and set it onto the counter. "I will never get this new power source to work right..."

Searcher-of-Portals laid her mandibles on the Creator's 'shoulder'.
"You should relax. Just for s little while, you know." She scratched him slightly.

"I have a deadline..." Creator-of-Scientific-Inventions closes his eyes to rest despite his worried thoughts.

Xal nibbled Creator's neck playfully.
Leader-of-Warrior-Serpents sighed.
"Forget the deadline for now." The female ordered him.

Creator sighed and nodded, then touched a mandible to Xal's. "Alright."

Xal pointed her head towards the exit door.
"Hungry?" She asked.

Creator just realized he was actually starving and hadn't eaten since yesterday morning. "Yes, very..."

Xal walked with him to the door, then the small gravity-manipulating lift.
The smooth metal surface bobbed slightly as she stepped onto it. She raised her fins in a smiling gesture.

Creator "smiled" back and stepped onto the platform, eager to eat. "How are you this morning?"

"Concerned for you, my friend. Other than this, I am well. Thank you." Xal replied, face-prodding a glowing panel and starting the descent to the eating-chamber.

"Concerned? I just work hard, and sometimes neglect to care for myself, but I am still alive." But I won't be when my contractor finds out I haven't completed his energy-coupler...

Xal nuzzled Creator again, closing her eyes.
The transport settled in he eating-hall.

Creator nuzzled back as the door opened. "Thanks for worrying, though."

"I am a Portal-Opener. I worry about you by nature." Xal giggled, walking over to the food generator.

Creator chuckled. "I wonder if I am a bit of that as well, because I always worry about everyone and everything... Geez, I should be of the title, 'Annoying-Worrier-of-everything.' At least I don't fail at that."

Searcher-of-Portals laughed.
"You don't fail. I don't love failed scientists, that would made me... hehe, hahaha." She giggled.

Creator blinked and wondered what had Xal in such a giggly mood, but quickly turned his thoughts to eating as he savored the smell of the generated food. "Ah, I must take better care of myself... I may end up destroying the food generator because I may get 50 helpings."

"Yes, yes, ayahna, agreed." Xal raised her forefoot and dialed for her preferred meal, a strange substance, sloppy, maroon in colour.

Creator dialed for the same thing out of a rush to just get something onto his plate, then started eating before he got to a seat. "I am going to regret how fast I eat later, I just know it..."

'Portals blinked.
"So don't rush it. There's no rush for anything today."
She prodded his side with her jaws.
